Cleaning Services - Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning
At Scott & Sons we take a pride in our carpet and upholstery cleaning service. We use our extensive experience and training to achieve superb results time after time, with a database of repeat customers.

The carpets in commercial units receive a great deal of hard wear and tear and a carpet in need of attention can make a premises look dirty and unkempt.

Similarly, in your home, carpets and upholstery are a big investment and it makes sense to look after them properly. Regular professional cleaning can both extend the life of these items as well as keeping them and your home looking at its best.

The incorrect cleaning of carpets can result in a detergent residue being left in the fibres of the carpet. This residue can act as a magnet to dirt, attracting more and making your carpet dirtier than before it was cleaned.

We use the hot water soil extraction method of cleaning carpets and upholstery, together with Prochem specialist Chemicals. All Prochem chemical products are manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards and the latest EC environmental and safety requirements. This ensures peace of mind and a quality service for our valued customers as we insist on using only these. All Prochem products are child and pet safe.

The hot water soil extraction method involves a pressurized hot water and cleaning/deodorizing mixture being injected into the pile of the carpet which dislodges deep down dirt and grease. The fluid is then sucked into a recovery tank, taking all the loosened dirt with it. The carpet then has clean water pumped through it in the same process to remove any residue of dirt or cleaning products. The process is deep cleaning, restoring lustre, colour and pile and is fast drying. The process can also help with the removal of the parasites that contribute to house dust mite allergy.

Additional stain protection products can be applied.
